On February 7, 2024, the Court entered an Order Certifying Settlement Class and Preliminary Approving Settlement Agreement. Under the proposed class action settlement, if the settlement receives final approval, Acella will make financial benefits available to class members to resolve class members’ claims of economic damages. The value of the proposed settlement is estimated at approximately $46 million. Class members will also retain any rights they may have to bring personal injury claims against Acella.
