The Block Firm has recruited three new members to join its boutique litigation practice.
Attorney Max Marks joins the firm following nearly eight years as a senior associate in the Litigation and Trial Practice group at the international law firm Alston & Bird LLP. Max is a graduate of Harvard Law School. Prior to attending Harvard, Max worked for several years at a civil rights litigation boutique in Ohio. Max brings a passion for justice, along with his intellectual and practice skills, to the Block Firm.
Attorney Emily Shuman joins the firm as an of counsel member with over a decade of experience litigating cases throughout Georgia, primarily for the defense. She brings that perspective, as well as her significant experience working alongside judges as a clerk and intern, to assist her clients with complex legal issues, including personal injury and medical malpractice claims. Emily approaches her clients with empathy and works tirelessly to guide them through the litigation process.
Legal Nurse Consultant Susie Reynolds, BSN, RN, CPN is registered nurse with 15 years of experience in both hospital and clinical settings. Susie assists the Block Firm in developing medical strategy in complex litigation cases involving medical and scientific issues. Susie’s medical background and perspective add a unique perspective that most litigation firms cannot regularly bring to their cases.
