K.C. Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has issued a second recall of its eye drops. This round covers eight products and millions more cartons, many with expiration dates stretching into 2027. For the first round of recalled products, see our original post: [see here].
What Happened
K.C. Pharmaceuticals, first recalled its over-the-counter eye drops in March 2026 because it could not assure the products were sterile. On September 11, 2026, the company began a new recall for the same reason. FDA classified it Class II on October 5, 2026. The recall is nationwide and ongoing.
Eye drops are supposed to be sterile, and contaminated drops can cause eye infections that range from irritation to serious, vision-threatening conditions.

How to Check Your Bottle
Find the lot code and expiration date on the bottle or carton and compare them to FDA’s recent expansion. Because these lots expire as late as 2027, recently purchased bottles may be affected. If you have eye pain, redness, discharge, swelling, light sensitivity, or vision changes, see an eye doctor or healthcare provider and hold onto the bottle and receipt if you can.
The Block Firm Is Investigating
The Block Firm is investigating claims on behalf of consumers who purchased eye drop products manufactured by K.C. Pharmaceuticals and affected by either round of this recall.
